In the near term, we are conducting additional studies in North America for our key areas of focus as follows:
- Topical Toxin (Aesthetics) – an additional study is planned to optimize topical botulinum toxin for aesthetics, including optimizing the Transdermal delivery system and determining the correct dosage of topical toxin.
- Topical HA (Cosmetic) – additional bench and clinical studies planned to further define and refine the clinical product line.
- Topical Toxin (Hyperhidrosis) – an additional study is planned to optimize topical botulinum toxin for aesthetics, including optimizing the Transdermal delivery system and determining the correct dosage of topical toxin.
- Topical BP (acne care) – We anticipate commencing a study for our acne care treatment using our topical BP cream during the fourth quarter of 2010.
- rhEGF Hydrogel (Wound Care) – We anticipate commencing a study for wound care treatment using our topical hydrogel cream within the next 9-12 months.
In addition, we are pursuing opportunities for partnerships and licensing of our products. We also plan to pursue additional applications and product areas for our technology platform including:
- Hyper-pigmentation and Melasma
- Psoriasis
- Rosacea
- Topical Anesthesia
- Onychomycosis
- Xerosis
- Cosmetics
